I started playing guitar in 1995 when I convinced my Dad to get me an electric guitar and amp. I also had a short lesson book that showed how to play "Ode to Joy". I quit playing for 6 months until a friend showed me how to play "Glycerine" by Bush before we walked to school one day. In 1996 my Grandma gave me her old stereo system and in 1997 I started recording stuff (with friends or by myself) onto cassettes with a microphone plugged into the tape deck. In 2000 a friend showed me how to program drums and record onto a computer, and in 2001 I finished my first solo album at 18 years old while I was honing my skills to form a band one day. I didn't know any drummers who wanted to play blast beats, so in 2002 I started playing drums myself on a kit of junk that included two broken cymbals, a snare drum with no bottom skin, and a cardboard box with weights inside as a bass drum, until my friend was ready to sell me his kit in 2003. Since then, I've been consistently releasing new music year after year with no end in sight.

I always thought my main creative outlet for music would be in a band setting, but eventually realized that I was getting enough fulfillment and fun out of making music by myself.

42:00 (20 songs) -- After completing the grueling "Sanity's Unnecessary Elaborations", I switched it up on this album and went with very simple and straight-forward song structures. This album has two distinct styles where the tracklist alternates between dissonant black metal and ambient/noise dungeon synth. The guitars were written unplugged and then recorded with distortion, so there are dissonant ringing notes in virtually every riff. I deducted one star because the vocals are "way" too loud and the drums are just a bit too loud. Favourite song: "Selfish Satiation". 39:58 (99 songs) -- I wanted to make a 99-song album for a long time and this was my first. I'm super proud of this album because it came out exactly how I envisioned. I started by making a 20-second "timer" that had a count-in and count-out with silence during the 20 seconds. Then I added 99 markers into Reaper and added the timer to each marker. Then I recorded 99 drum tracks and 198 guitar tracks (99 twice) of random improvised free jazz while only listening to the timer and the instrument I was playing. Then I randomized the order of all the drum and guitar tracks. Then I recorded an hour of audio from my tv while flipping through the channels and picked out 99 samples. "No Look Pass" was recorded all at once and then split up into tracks later. While recording each instrument, I only listened to a mostly silent midi I made that had metronome clicks every 30 seconds, I didn't listen to any of the other recorded instruments. That's why every 30 seconds all the instruments will stop together or play notes together for a few seconds, the rest of the time they're playing without any idea of what the other instruments are playing. The last two songs are where I ditched the drum programming and started playing drums myself.
